SMART RING

This was a quick assignment for a 3D modeling course. The goal was to work with existing scan data, in this case a hand, and design a piece of art around the scan data. I was interested in taking the piece of art a bit further and adding technology into a common item such as a ring. This concept drew inspiration from an old ring that had a miniature display for the time. With all of the contactless payment methods and even keys that live on our devices, I figured it might be interesting to not only display the time, but incorporate contactless payment and keys into the ring. When the display is off, it would look like a high fashion silver ring with an onyx stone.
